Brent Clark, a longtime media professional and executive, has served on multiple industry and community boards, including Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Southeast and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Southeast Chapter. Over his two decades in media, he has earned several honors, including WICT National’s Chapter Leader of the Year Award, the John Seigenthaler Making KIDS COUNT Media Award, and a regional Emmy nomination. He also appeared as a Capitol Police officer on the acclaimed series The West Wing, reflecting his broad experience across both creative and production roles.
Before beginning his media career, Clark worked at Cherokee Town & Country Club starting at age sixteen, later spending nineteen years with the organization, which was ranked the number-one private club in North America for twelve consecutive years during his tenure. He also spent more than a decade helping manage his family’s cattle farm in rural Tennessee, giving him strong ties to agricultural communities and firsthand experience with the challenges facing rural families.
Clark is known for his lifelong commitment to family and caregiving. He moved in with his grandmother the day his grandfather passed away and remained by her side for eighteen and a half years. After her passing, he relocated to Marietta to care for his father, a 42-year U.S. Navy veteran living with multiple sclerosis.
“These years taught me that when you love someone, you show up every day—no excuses,” Clark said. “The same dedication I brought to caring for my family is the dedication I’ll bring to serving the people of Northwest Georgia.” Friends and colleagues describe him as a steady, reliable presence whose personal and professional life has always centered on service, integrity, and responsibility.
With more than twenty years of experience in television and public broadcasting—including serving as Director of Content & Digital Media at WCTE, a PBS member station—as well as roles with Warner Bros. Discovery, CMT, and Scripps Networks, Clark has begun exploratory conversations about a potential run in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District. During his time at WCTE, he helped lead award-winning local programming and community initiatives, including the station’s Emmy recognition and the John Seigenthaler Making KIDS COUNT Media Award.
He holds a triple major from Kennesaw State University, an MBA from Georgia State University, a Global Executive MBA from Georgia Tech, and a Master of Science from Columbia University. He is completing admission coursework toward the M.L.A. in Government at Harvard University, having most recently completed the graduate course Law in War.
In early discussions, Clark has emphasized strengthening local communities, supporting working families, improving healthcare access, serving veterans, and protecting the region’s long-term economic future. Raised in Marietta and connected to both rural and suburban communities, he stresses a “People Before Politics” approach and has made no formal announcement. His interest in GA-14 reflects a commitment to ensuring that communities across Northwest Georgia have strong, stable, service-focused representation.
Brent Clark is currently exploring a potential campaign for the United States House of Representatives in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District. At this stage, he is testing the waters and evaluating the feasibility of becoming a candidate.

Rural Northwest Georgia deserves a strong voice. Brent believes in protecting family farms, improving infrastructure, expanding broadband access, and supporting the small businesses that keep our communities strong.
Families across the 14th District want stability, opportunity, and a fair path forward. As Brent begins this exploratory phase, he is prioritizing issues like jobs, skills training, and pathways that help communities build a secure future.
From seniors to working families, access to healthcare is a top concern throughout Northwest Georgia. Brent’s focus is on practical solutions that improve care without adding burdens to families or providers.
Northwest Georgia is home to thousands of veterans and military families. Brent believes they deserve timely access to care, strong community support, and resources that honor their service to our country.
Local law enforcement and first responders work tirelessly to keep our communities safe. Brent supports strengthening partnerships that build trust, reduce crime, and protect every neighborhood.
A strong local economy means more opportunity for everyone. Brent is committed to policies that attract investment, strengthen industry and manufacturing, and ensure long-term stability for the region.
In moments of transition, communities often look for certainty. The work ahead doesn’t belong to one person or one party — it belongs to all of us.
As I explore how best to serve Northwest Georgia, I’m inviting those who care deeply about our home to help shape a conversation grounded in dignity, honesty, and responsibility.
This district has unlimited potential, yet division has stalled our progress. Brent’s mission isn’t to score political points — it’s to bring people together to get things done.
Northwest Georgia deserves reliable infrastructure, economic opportunity, access to information, strong rural institutions, and a government that listens. Brent is committed to exploring solutions that honor every family, every worker, and every patch of land in this district.
A collection of thoughts, lessons, and values that shape how I view leadership, service, and community. These are the principles that guide how I lead, how I listen, and how I serve:
“If it was wrong, it was just wrong — and I don't care which side of the pendulum you were on. If it’s wrong, it’s wrong!”
— Elyse W. Pervis (Brent's grandmother)
What comes next must be shaped by the real lives of the people who call Northwest Georgia home, not by the noise coming out of Washington. If you share that belief, your voice and your involvement matter.
